First visit: Jun 2025 Back in 2017, Mrs. RJG and I were in Pittsburgh. One of many undocumented trips in the RJG, though fortunately I kept my spreadsheet up to date. There was a place called Sharp Edge Beer Emporium (now closed apparently) that had the best thin crust pizza I'd ever had up to that point. We now have a new winner! Billy's Old World Pizza is heavily Chicago Food focused, and they specialize in Chicago pizzas - both deep dish and thin crust. I'm not a big deep dish guy, and besides even the small is too much for one person. I was very tempted to get an Italian beef and sausage sandwich, especially since we just had similar at Pop's in the south Chicago suburbs. But I was determined to try the thin crust pizza. I got a small 10", which believe me I had all I could do to finish it. Billy's is a one man shop and he (Jim) takes great care in making your pizza.
